I’m Stephanie Evans, and I’m ready to fight for you.
Stephanie Evans is running for Commerce City Council because she’s lived through what too many families in our community are still going through—and she knows we can do better. A survivor, mother, public servant, and lifelong Coloradan, Stephanie brings the kind of lived experience, empathy, and steady leadership that Commerce City needs right now.
Stephanie was raised in a military family, which taught her adaptability, resilience, and a deep appreciation for service. She’s spent the last 45 years in Adams County, with more than a decade living and working in Commerce City. Today, she manages front office operations at Ardent Mills, where she oversees HR, legal coordination, labor relations, and union negotiations. Her role puts her at the center of both business operations and the day-to-day realities of working families—giving her a rare, dual perspective that will serve the City Council well.
But Stephanie’s story goes deeper than her résumé. She’s a cancer survivor, a former cybersecurity consultant who helped negotiate ransomware attacks at the national level, and a woman who’s overcome adversity in male-dominated industries. She’s also a proud police wife—and a passionate advocate for public safety who understands what’s at stake when crime goes unchecked and officers are stretched thin.
For over a decade, Stephanie volunteered as a victim advocate, working cases of domestic violence, homicides, and child trauma. These experiences shaped her core belief: that every person deserves to be seen, supported, and safe. Her empathy is hard-earned—and it fuels her mission to create a Commerce City that works for everyone.
Stephanie Evans is running to be the steady, compassionate leader Commerce City deserves.
Stephanie’s priorities include improving public safety, expanding access to basic city amenities, addressing rising housing costs, and ensuring responsible economic development.
Stephanie believes city leadership should be about accountability and results - and that it’s time for a more thoughtful, solutions-oriented approach.
Join Team Stephanie.
